Did U guys hear about this (on Nigeria info 99.3).... A 36yr old woman, Mrs. Gloria Ugonnaya, was arraigned before a Yaba Magistrate’s court in Lagos, charged with assault. She was said to have allegedly bitten off the ear of a police Corporal by name Odion Oifoghe, attached to Sabo Police Division, Yaba in order to evade arrest. Reports say Gloria had a quarrel with her neighbor at their Onike, Yaba, Lagos residence and when the police invited her for questioning, she refused to honor the invitation. Oifoghe had to go to her residence in the morning on the day of the incident to arrest her only to be engaged in a scuffle during which she bit off the ear of the police man before she was arrested. The offence according to the police prosecutor is contrary to and punishable under section 172 of the criminal code laws of Lagos state, Nigeria, 2011.
