Senate suspends the DG of Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority

An ordered was passed earlier today for the Director General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Harold Demuren, to step aside until the conclusion of investigations into the Dana plane crash.

It was reported that the same plane made an emergency landing last month and NCAA failed to ground the aircraft.

Meanwhile, the black box flight recorder for the crashed plane has been recovered and is now with investigators.
