TOP FIVE NIGERIAN WORLD RECORD BREAKERS

Breaking a world record is surely not something we see done everyday, it is not even something that many would say Nigeria is known to do. Well, I have a shocker for you, Nigeria and Nigerians has on more than one occasion attempted to register its or their names in gold on world record lists, and far more than one time we have succeed. some of the things people have tried may even be said to be very inspiring but sometime very funny. for instance, Fela Durotoye, a home-based Nigerian motivational speaker and writer made history signing over 10,000 books in 8 hours, 49minutes. Now compare that with an OAU student who is said to have broken the record for longest sex, engaging with a girl for 15hours, 7mins. (not confirmed) Soon though we may be confirmed in the book again when Bash Ali fights Rock Cavlin, he will be register in the Guinness book of records as the oldest boxer to feature in a world title fight. (Kudos Uncle Ali.)

The government have also given a fair share in breaking world records and adding the country's name in the Guinness Book of Record, Nigeria set the world record in tooth brushing when the Lagos state government organised 30,000 students from 600 public secondary schools at different locations in Lagos and had them brush their teeth at the same time. Again our name got in the book when we unveiled the bigger sport jersey in the world at the Teslim Balogun stadium in support of the support eagles.
