MODEST FLIRTING TIPS FOR GIRLS (DO’S AND DON’T TO GET A NIGERIAN GUY)
Last week about three of my female friends came to me seeking relationship advice, coincidentally, all three of them had seminar issues – How do I get a particular guy to notice me? In-other-words, how can I flirt with a guy without selling myself short? Although the third of the three was a bit more complicated but that will be a topic for another day.
Now I did offer my advice but in doing that it opened my
eyes to this female need, so am deciding to help our sister’s out, after all
that why this site exist, to inspire ourselves.
First of all, you must note that what may seem to work in
movies, (especially foreign movies) only works in movies. So we will be talking
real world. So we will highlight 7 top flirting tip, I can assure you IT WILL
WORK, but after reading please be kind enough to tell me your own thought and
probably add your own tip as well. You never know who you may just be
connecting to her future.
Ladies, when you really like a guy but it seems like he
never notices you, here are a few things you can do to get his attention
without looking desperate, and also things that you must, I repeat, you must
never try. They just don’t work for Nigerian men. Simply.
You know that thing they do in romance movies in slow
motion, especially in Indian romance -where the guy notices you walking past
and the wind is blowing your hair freely, and he is like mouth-open-wide. Please
stop wasting your time, it just doesn’t work for Nigerian men, except it’s a
white Nigerian then maybe, but for the African breed, you are simply joking.
RATHER
What you should do is make eye contact, keep the stare for a
few minutes then smile and gently brush your hair to the side using your
fingers. You got him! Now don’t overdo it, may once or twice is just fine. That
picture is not leaving his mind anything soon.
2. WINKING
2. WINKING
You know, walking down, he stares at you and you wink an eye
at him…. I will keep this simply, never wink at a guy you are not already
intimate with; unless of cause you simple need him to ask you how much.
RATHER
Keep good eye contact with him for a while (not too long
though) and just before you look away, smile. That says it all. According to
Ne-yo “you can have an entire conversation without saying a word.”
3. OFFERS
3. OFFERS
Never offer to buy him a drink, it makes you look desperate
and African men do not like desperate Ladies.
RATHER
You can keep a gum, sweet or something in your purse and
offer him nicely, “want one?” is known to be the world’s fastest ice-breaker.
If it’s a shy guy, that would have soften the flow for him.
4. DRESS CODE
4. DRESS CODE
Don’t dress too sexy (half naked) that idea does not work in
Africa, If a guy stares at you because you have less clothes on, be sure he
thinking how much it will cost him to take the rest off. But at the same time,
don’t do dressing like an ancient mother; guys like their ladies sexy and hot
but not naked.
RATHER
Dress modest and stylist, be up-to-date and look good. Guys
need a lady they can brag about to their guys –She hot, sexy, beautiful, great
sense of humour, can chat well etc. but you will never find immodest on their
pride list.
5. HIS DRESSING
5. HIS DRESSING
Until you become very familiar with him, do not directly
compliment his dressing, or directly tell him you care about him, you must make
him work for it. See the thing is guys prefer to ask –What does she want from
me? Than –She desperately wants me.
RATHER
Show your affections, rather than say it. For instance, when
in a discussion, you can calmly fixed his clothes –tie, collar or anything. And
then gently walk away without smiling, you must make it seem like you did it unconsciously,
He will be – wow! She is so caring POINT.
6. DATE
6. DATE
Never offer to take him out on a date (this is cute and
encouraged when you are already dating) but not the first date.
RATHER
To get him to take you out, indirectly inform him of a movie
or a place you would like to visit but can’t go alone. Any interested gentleman
would offer to take you. But caution, this is Nigeria so make sure your pick is
one he can well afford and don’t overdo it least you be perceived as demanding.
7. QUICK FLIRT TEXT
7. QUICK FLIRT TEXT
Few minutes after you just met and you are already sending
him flirt text. Never do this. You sell yourself cheap and Nigerian men only
sleep with cheap girls and they move on to the next cheap girl.
RATHER
Wait a day or two and if he does not call, send him a
circular text message. That will remind him that you exist and want to keep
existing.
