Ten Strong Extracts From The Imo State Governor Owelle Rochas Okoroacha's Lecture On Leadership, Good Governance and Human Right.

Image
1. Politicians think about the next election while leaders think about the next generation. 2. The nigerian state have produced more politicians than leaders in the last generations. 3. People should choose their leaders carefully because no nation can be greater than it's leader. 4. An army of Sheeps lead by a single Lion is a 100 times better than an army of Lions lead by a single Sheep. 5. If democracy is to be practised in it's greatness, then none of us have any business in power. 6. I believe there is no true democratic party in Nigeria because they all lack visions, their mandate being to hold and expand power and their flagbearers do nothing but copy and paste in their agenda. 7. Never follow a leader who can not die for the sake of his people. 8. We must as a nation address the issue of our culture and erase the confussion of mixed borrowed cultures dominating our own. 9. The nigerian people need to develop a new spirit. 10. Politcians express sentiments, whil

YELLOW MOUNTAINS

Image
Yellow Mountains of China - Terror Trail Far up on Yellow Mountain in the south east of China’s Anhui province is a trail of tens of thousands of granite steps. Partly lacking rails to hold on to, they are a traveler only guide past deep ravines and steep descents. Weather-wise, a whole year can pass in just one day: spring in the morning, summer at noon, autumn in the afternoon and winter at night. The most dangerous part yet might be the breathtaking views that can easily make visitors forget where they have to tread. Read more at  http://www.environmentalgraffiti.com/featured/china%E2%80%99s-fairytale-terror-trail/16223#prbyEE8WOhTCm5dV.99 The last time I was in Ghana I climbed the bridges of kakum national park, one that is long and goes high above one of the thickest forest in the continent but it would take something really strong to make me climb this one.

US MOSQUITO SPY

Image
Is this a mosquito? No. It's an insect spy drone for urban areas, already in production, funded by the US Government. It can be remotely controlled and is equipped with a camera and a microphone. It can land on you, and it may have the potential to take a DNA sample or leave RFID tracking nanotechnology on your skin. It can fly through an open window, or it can attach to your clothing until you take it in your home. America has come again, but if I may ask why mosquito, why not butterfly or bee that is mostly in their region?

SOUTHEASTERN NIGERIA GETS NEW STATE

Image
Indications emerged last night that the Federal Government may create two new states, and one of the beneficiaries of the additional state will be the Southeast region. It was gathered authoritatively that the Southeast is to be considered an additional new state, because the geopolitical zone has only five states, and is greatly at a disadvantage if compared with the other geopolitical zones in the country. According to a source from the Presidency, “President Jonathan believes in equity and fairness. I think his administration is favorably disposed to the creation of one or two states to address obvious imbalance. “One of the states might be from the Southeast, which is the only geopolitical zone with five states. The other five zones have six states, with the exception of the Northwest with seven states.” Besides, the source added that President Goodluck Jonathan is seeking for the amendment of 1999 constitution, particularly the area of local government havin

THE REAL NIGERIAN PROBLEM

Image
When asked to analyze the stagnate state of his country Nigeria, the wise and old celebrated man decided to tell a story. One of our great and not so long ago Nigerian leader took a leaders trip to the UK and during launch with her majesty the queen, he asked her to tell him her secret of leadership. In response, the queen picked up the phone and dialed her Prime Minister Tony, she asked him a very direct question expecting an answer like it was a riddle “your father and mother had a child” she asked, “it’s not your brother and it’s not your sister, who is the person?” “It’s me, your majesty” she thanked him and hanged-up the phone. Turning to the Nigeria leader, she said with a smile “You see, I just have to surround myself with intelligent people” The Nigerian leader came back home summoned the senate president immediately, he asked him the same exact question with high expectations “your father and mother had a child” she asked, “it’s not your brother and it’s not your

River Mysteriously Turns Color Red

Image
For a river known as the "golden watercourse," red is a strange color to see. Yet that's the shade turning up in the Yangtze River and officials have no idea why. The red began appearing in the Yangtze, the longest and largest river in China and the third longest river in the world, yesterday near the city of Chongquing, where the Yangtze connects to the Jialin River. The Yangtze, called "golden" because of the heavy rainfall it receives year-round, runs through Chongqing , Southwest China 's largest industrial and commercial center, also known as the "mountain city" because of the hills and peaks upon which its many buildings and factories stand. The red color stopped some residents in their tracks. They put water from the river in bottles to save it. Fishermen and other workers who rely on the river for income kept going about their business, according to the UK's Daily Mail . While the river's red
