My favorite Poem

Image
THE POEM THAT SURVIVES TIME This is one of my favorite poems of all time and its message is numerous; it talks about the beauty of life as God’s creation and every line gives joy to my soul, I thought I should remind share with you and give that same joy, enjoy. ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All wise and wonderful, The Lord God made them all. Each little flower that opens, Each little bird that sings, He made their glowing colors, He made their tiny wings; The purple-headed mountain, The river running by, The sunset and the morning, That brightens up the sky; The cold wind in the winter, The pleasant summer sun, The ripe fruits in the garden, He made them every one; The tall tree in the greenwood, The meadows for our play, The rushes by the water, To gather every day; He gave us eyes to see them, And lips that we might tell, How great is God Almighty,

FACTS YOU NEVER KNEW ABOUT THREE MAJOR TRIBES IN NIGERIA HAUSA TRIBE: The Hausa tribe of northern Nigeria can be traced back to Bayagida, a prince of Bagdad that married the Queen of Daura; His children founded the true Hausa states known as Hausa Bakwal, such as the today Biram, Daura, Katsina, Zaria, Kano and Gobir. After many years these descendants found another Hausa state called Banza Bakwai, they are the today Zamfara, Kebbi Gwari and Yuari. Pfizer sells to Nestle

Pfizer nears USD9bn deal with Nestle NEW YORK, USA: US pharmaceutical giant Pfizer is close to reaching a US$9 billion deal to sell its infant nutrition business to Nestle, according to the Wall Street Journal . The Journal said Nestle, the Swiss food giant, had apparently beaten out Groupe Danone and Mead Johnson Nutrition, which had considered a joint bid for the business, and that the final deal could be announced next week. A Pfizer spokeswoman contacted by AFP refused to comment on the report, saying "no decisions have been made at this point" on the sale of the infant nutrition business or an animal health business also set to be auctioned off. "The animal health and nutrition businesses are highly valued assets, and our decision about strategic options will be driven by value creation and delivering the best after-tax value for our shareholders," she said. Pfizer has moved to unload peripheral entities in recent months in order to focus on i

THE GIFT OF A SMILE

Image
THE SMALLEST, BIGGEST GIFT YOU CAN GIVE Some people think they have absolutely nothing to give in other to show their good intention well, I have news for you. There is something you possess with the ability to give out freely without running into any diminishing risk, it seem small but it’s quite big, most importantly, it cost you nothing. That one thing is a smile. Let me share a story about the power of a simple smile. A young woman smiled at a sorrowful stranger, the smile seems to make him feel better, and he remembered the past kindness of a friend and wrote him a thank you letter. The friend was so pleased with the letter that he left a large tip after lunch. The waitress, surprised by the size of the tip, bet the whole thing on a hunch. The next day, she picked up her winnings and gave part of it to a man on the street. The man on the street was grateful; he ate for the two days he had nothing to eat. After he finished the dinner, he left for his small dingy room. H

The famous Thomas Beatie, as the first man to give birth, and his wife Nancy have separated. This was revealed by Beatie himself during the TV show "The Doctors." "Like all marriages, we have our ups and downs, and we're going through a rough patch right now. At the moment, we're separated," he says on the show, slated to air May 9, reports People.com. Beatie also said he had undergone a final female-to-male gender reassignment surgery, but his wife hadn't been privy to that. "Nancy hasn't seen the new me yet," Beatie, 38, says. Beatie began life as a woman and legally switched to a male identity, making headlines in 2007 when he became pregnant. REDEPLOYED NYSC CORPS MEMBERS...... There is fire on the mountain

Image
There is fire on the mountain for all batch C and A NYSC Corps member that recently redeployed from their original places of deployment as gossip has it from inside sources that the officer in-charge of redeployment at the NYSC head office in Abuja has been kicked-out.  This is oweing to the record of over 3000 corpers from batch C (2011) and batch B (2012) having reployed to Lagos  state alone and only about 10% 0f this figure was on merit (due process and appropriate reasons) there is strong rumour of corruption in high places as money pat hand in other to give out redeployment. All redeployed corpers are adviced to keep their figures crossed as gossip also has it, they might be sent back to their former place of deployment.

Awkward Moments of life

Image
AWKWARD MOMENTS OF LIFE………….. A lot of my friends have been posting band pinging about their awkward moments so often late like it’s the update style in vogue, and I realized a lot of these moments are generally felt more so often than we know but still they feel awkward. So I decided to do a complied list of these moments, let’s see how many you have actually experienced personally.   The awkward moment when you do something amazing and no one is around to see it. The awkward moment when a music video has nothing to do with the lyrics The awkward moment when someone has a strong accent and you can't understand them The awkward moment when your friend jokingly says something about you but you know they're telling the truth. The awkward moment when you don't want to come out of your room because there are strangers in your house The awkward moment when your teacher asks you a question and everyone's watching you and u have no clue what the answe
