RICHARD MOFE DAMIJO


Richard Mofe Damijo popularly called RMD was born in Warri, Delta state on the 6th of July 1961. He is known as Nollyhood's perfect gentle man. He is a Nigerian actor and in recent years a politician and has been serving his country Since January 2009 as the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State, Nigeria.
After his graduation from the university of Benin where he studied Theater arts he started out his career as reporter with Concord Newspapers and Metro Magazine, and later returned to the University of Lagos to  study law and graduated in 2004. He started his acting career with a television soap opera in the late 80's called Ripples before doing his first movie out of bound.
Mofe-Damijo was married to the late May Ellen Ezekiel, a foremost Nigerian journalist popularly known as MEE. After MEE's death in 1996, Mofe-Damijo married again to his now wife, Jumobi. He has in total five children four biological and one he adopted from his previous marriage with mee.
He was one of my favorites at the time and taught us the value of  a good reputation. I DARE 2 BE
