If you have been to a few job interviews lately then you must have come across: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

The truth is that, we really shouldn't wait for an interview before we ask ourselves that question and of cause, try to answer it. The Recruiters that ask this question simply want to know if you have a vision, they ask this because they know the power in having a vision and want to employ somebody who does.

The easiest way to live is simply to take life as it comes but its certainly not the most productive way to live. I recently saw an advert that used a known quote that I love so much to pass their message, it says:

"The best way to predict the future, is to create it" 

You see, without a vision, you will very well be pushed around by life or what some call fate. You have to know exactly what you want out of life and then pursue it. My question for you today is a very direct one: "Where do you see yourself in 5 years or put another way, what is your VISION?
